Guidelines for Selecting Children for "Support A Child"
- Poverty and lack of opportunities are the main criteria for selecting children.
- No consideration whatsoever with regard to caste, creed, gender, religion, region, language, political affiliation etc.
- Orphans, abandoned children, calamity-stricken children, child laborers, poverty stricken children, disabled poor children are some examples.
Expectations from Children
- Children assisted are expected to perform better and better in their education as they go along such that their dreams are fulfilled.
- Children are expected to understand ethics of Next Generation Foundation.
- Children are expected to take a vow that they would not consume alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes etc. and that they would perform their duties honestly and without any malpractice.
- Children are expected to report their progress every year/semester or equivalent to Trusted Persons and Next Generation Foundation.
- Children are expected to be in constant touch with sponsoring Members, Trusted Persons and Office of Next Generation Foundation.
